And I always thought, well, which guy? I mean, what if he had small hands?

I'm laughing at your *lofty* goals for the week. I always make big plans like that when my kids are home too. We are lucky if one of them is accomplished. I am usually found at the end of the week weeping in a fetal position in a dark room--utterly defeated!

I've got a gorgeous wedding ring shawl my grandmother knit me. It doesn't go through my godless heathen ring, however. [My godless heathen ring is not the living in sin type, it's more a companion to the skull I posted on my blog a week ago] I have a feeling it would go through my dad's wedding ring, 'cause he has enormous hands, and that is sufficient. After all, if my grandmother says it's a wedding ring shawl, it's a wedding ring shawl. Go with the pointy edging.

I agree, more swatching is necessary. You have to be sure, right? I think you should get to choose what pagan ring you want it to fit through. My fingers are so thin that I'm not sure a shawl for my 3 yr old would fit through a ring of mine, that can hardly be fair.

My kids had a week's vacation in Feb, and will have another week in April. Whose idea was *that*, I ask you! And it's likely we'll have a snow day tomorrow. I spend most of my time mediating petty spats... Someone said grandchildren are our reward for not killing our children.

One way or another school is gonna get ya! We have a break to "look forward to" in April. However, standing in the way of that fun is: one enormous grade 7 Social Studies project, one fourth grade science project, one fifth grade science project, one fourth grade book report, one fifth grade biography report and who knows what else. I am I a little crabby today??
As a displaced Canadian(Montreal, yeah)I am jealous. I love Toronto. The Connecticut shoreline is a little short on good Asian food. Ejoy your week.
