Appropriately, I read your entry while turning the heel on a sock (Lang JaWoll - you can go on about sock knitting next) and finishing the blocking on a scarf (ancient Classic Elite Avalon, a angora/alpaca/lambswool blend that felts if you so much as look at it funny).

I may be in your neck of the woods 2/14-16. It depends on the arifares.

Photos are always good, even photos of poorly executed spinning.
Don't talk TOO much about the requisite cat, and we could be friends forever.
You may, however, as far as I am concerned, discuss Newfoundland and its culture, language and music as often as you wish.

You know you're far gone on the spinning when you start in on the cat's hair... Lumpy is expected there, by the way, and just fine. Plies well with silk. BTDT!

Hello knitting blogger. I am a knitter playing at getting up a blog as well. This weekend I was knitting mitts and finishing socks and starting socks and just enjoying horrible weather to all get out. Say a prayer of thanks for your computer friend. Every new thing I add to my blog, I add in fear. I have the digital cam, some neat photo softwear, but this FTP upload thing has me tweaked for the moment. It's fun to love one thing so much (knitting) that I am willing to venture into another somethiing new to share it. ( blog technicals.) Take care.
