Comments: The blog is down

I think I can say I am the first poster on this posting - though it is one that no one could blog on while it was up all by itself :)

We were so worried about you and being blogless. It's like being homeless in cyberspace.

and glad you are back online.

Yeah! I was going though Harlot withdrawal. Breath in. Breath out. She is safe and has returned to us. Ken, you are truly awesome...thank you.

Wow. If I'd known, I'd have pointed you to Dreamhost.com . Love their stuff. Fairly reasonable prices, and good lord the storage. The base plan comes with 200GB of space, and over 2TB of bandwidth per month. Probably almost enough to keep up with the Harlot. And I have a code to get $97 off the first year. But it looks like you're good to go and set up. Good luck! Missed seeing the updates. :)

i LOVE...L O V E the way you explained the problem.

As long as you don't have to go shirtless while your closet is locked ... perhaps you'll have to buy some yarn to knit some sweaters.

I'm glad that you have a friendly geek to help you through this. You almost lost me when you said "mysql"!

Just have to laugh that this posting came in after the "Hello, Ken must be a god" post. I couldn't understand the closet and blue shirt references. Now it makes sense. Glad everything seems to be working with the new host. Can't wait to hear the new TSF stuff.

Missed you while you were gone... so much so that I read the closet/blue shirt post at least 3x and had my husband read it once. I understood! :) Thank you for the laugh.
Congrats to Ken.

Dreamhost. Seriously. They are great. Tons of space and cheap. :) But may the road... er... closet rise/open up to meet you.

Good luck.

Now that was the most entertaining explanation of a mysql database that I've ever heard...

I loved your explaination of the compter stuff with the shirts and closets. I think that is the first computer-related issue I have actually understood!

Thanks.

This post is brilliant!

I really want to help with this. I've emailed you with an idea. Let meknow if you think it would be ok.

Ken is a wonder. What a great way to explain geek stuff.

I'm sorry to hear you had this problem, but I'm glad to see that it all got resolved in the end. Also, I absolutely LOVED your explanations. Knitters need to look at your blue shirts! All of them!

don't let some of our american politicians hear you talking about "in the closet" and "out of the closet". it gets them all jittery ! welcome back....

I haven't been up to much these days. Today was a loss. Nothing seems important. I've just been letting everything happen without me these days.

Posted by Sten79298 at February 23, 2007 1:29 AM

Basically nothing seems worth thinking about. I haven't been up to much these days. I just don't have much to say right now. I can't be bothered with anything , but whatever.

retty much nothing seems worth thinking about. My life's been completely dull , not that it matters. I've just been staying at home waiting for something to happen.

Not much on my mind these days, but what can I say? It's not important. I just don't have much to say lately. I've just been letting everything pass me by recently, but eh.

I haven't been up to anything these days. So it goes. I can't be bothered with anything these days.
