I had no idea you were so into spinning. Oh yes, I can imagine what a big gaping rabbit hole that must be. I'm not a spinner, and not even that great of a knitter, but I've already had visions of having my own sheep farm. If I learned to spin, well, then...I might actually be able to justify the fantasy. I do not have a stash room, but my stash bins will still suck an hour away in the blink of an eye. I can imagine never leaving if I had a whole room full. You are strong.

Although we deliberately made no "official" plans to get together wit' cha' because we know how insanely busy you will be, that doesn't mean we won't try our damndest to trip you up in the hallway, the breakability of your bones be damned.

I'm so excited for Madrona and to see you again. I'll stand in line, whatever to maybe get a photo with you. When I saw you in Seattle at Weaving Works a couple years back I was being *shy* and regretted not getting a photo with you. No more shyness here. I won't be that fan running up to you with that crazed look in her eyes, promise! :)

I may run away to Madrona! This sounds like so much fun and I'm sure the classes, etc. will be amazing.

Progress on WIPs is highly over rated. Once everything is finished, there is time to start a gazillion new projects that will languish on needles as WIPs. Thus, there is a never-ending cycle of WIPs and FOs and newly started projects. Okay, I am off to start something new.

So glad you're coming for a visit! I'm not able to take any classes this year, but I'll be one of, oh, any number of folks running around the market tomorrow and fighting my way to the yarns/patterns.

I think that taking UFO's is the way to go. That way, when you get bored you will simply HAVE to puchase more yarn/fiber to make yourself feel better. In a way, it is a total win win!

Aren't all projects that we knit unfinished objects until we finish them? And then we don't knit them anymore. Of course you're only bringing unfinished objects to knit, it would be pretty silly to bring finished objects to knit.

So I've never heard you speak before and I don't mean to sound like a weirdo (I am... just not *that* kind of weirdo) you have a really lovely voice. I'd say sexy... but that's weird right?

Lucy Neatby has no stonger powers than the power of the Harlot. I was re-reading your first book today and came to the chapter about steeking. You cast on 278 stitches----gee, that sounds like what I just cast on for the sweater I'm going to steek. So, I sit down this evening to get going on it and wouldn't ya know I had twisted the stitches when joining!!!I make enough of my own screw ups whilst knitting without having to be influenced by the power of suggestion in a book!!The Knitting sprites laugh at our vain attempts to achieve perfection.Steeking is cool when you find out that it really does work and people who are so afraid of it are enormously impressed. Every time I cut my knitting my friend Kathy makes me take it to the spinning and knitting group to show them.Sorry I somehow posted the first part of this entry before I was thru. The only "F" I got in high school was in typing.

Enjoyed the podcast, especially the toilet tutorials; I'll stand by my previous post suggesting Harlot audiobooks. Must be read by the author, however, in that voice which is much taller than its owner.
Enough of that. I'm getting impatient for a new Yarn Harlot blog post. If I don't read one every day, there's just something missing--like a day without chocolate.
Don't know if I'm addicted, or if your life is just more interesting than my own. Nope, that's not it. I must be an addict!
